Luffy will kill Akainu in Final War!?

 

Many fans think Luffy will kill or beat Akainu for Ace revenge. But there is less possibility of luffy fighting Akainu.

I think Sabo will be the one to fight and kill Akainu NOT Luffy. I have 3 main reasons why, which I’ll list from weakest to strongest:

Akainu considered his fruit vastly superior to Ace’s. Because of this, it would be pretty poetic if Sabo, with the same supposedly “inferior” fruit, were to defeat Akainu.

Luffy has other shit to worry about. Yes, we know Akainu is one of the few people Luffy actually holds a grudge against, but he has other problems to deal with, namely Blackbeard.

 

Luffy might begin to fight Akainu at some point, but maybe Sabo will show up and take over, allowing Luffy to move on and fight Blackbeard instead while Sabo handles essentially the “second main antagonist” of the series.

Sabo wasn’t there during his Amnesic period for his brothers. He feels terribly guilty for not having joined Luffy and the Whitebeard pirates in the Marineford war, and the best way for him to redeem himself would be to avenge Ace’s death by killing Akainu.

Other than that, Sabo is part of the Revolutionary Army as we all know, and I suspect that they in particular would VERY strongly oppose Akainu’s “absolute justice mindset”.
