King could be the former Head Jailor of Impel Down

The impel down is far more significant than previously believed to the history of the op world, this is the world prison created by the wg to hold those deemed dangerous in the world. But at the same time is a place where unwanted people are placed as well, so not necessarily people who have commited crimes.

So we know the prison is seperated into 6 levels, and in particular 3 of these levels, 3 4 and 5. 3 is desert, 5 is a winter arctic habitat, and 4 is a normal prison setting but extreme heat due to flames across the entire floor that burn over a wide area

These levels are very unnatural and for 3 and 5, i believe this is the work of a post void century ice logia and sand logia user.They terraformed the respective levels with their fruits, as we know aokiji did this in punk hazard. Now as to why they did this, is to add to the insufferable conditions of the prison.

In onigashima we remember queen said that the Lunarian race were capable of surviving in any natural habitat, meaning they can survive in deserts, volcanoes, arctic as if these were normal safe locations, no fear of their bodies melting or freezing over.

We also know that the Lunarians were *purged from history and King is one of the last Survivors*, their homeland of mariejois was stolen from them by the world nobles, so we know that they must have been *sudued by the World nobles*. Rather than an *immediate massacre of every lunarian*, gradually over time they dwindlded their numbers in a controlled environment and hunted the ones who escaped. This environment being Impel down.

This prisons name is *IM on the flag*, which *very likely refers to imu*, this is world version of Udon prison, Imu is the world version of Kaidou. Take down Kaidou to liberate wano, Take down Imu to liberate the world. Kaidou *dwindled the samurais numbers over time in udon prison through torture, while Imu did this for the Lunarians.*

In these levels the Lunarians were kept as prisoners and tortured in my belief. And the flames of level 4 are the flames of those Lunarians who were tortured and killed there, their bodies have long since become ash but their flames continue to burn.

As one would expect i believe this information will be told to someone in the story, and more than likely it would be someone who is deeply tied to the Lunarian people, that character being King. But how is King connected to Impel down

He is actually the former Head Jailor at the prison, for the following reasons

1. He wears the same outfit as shiryuu who still wears his impel down clothing, this not just a coincidental design style, especially added to the fact that Queen called *King a torture pervert*, we have yet to see this side to King likely because oda is still saving it.

2. He has *2 names and 2 known appearances*, the masked man KIng, and the Non masked man Alber, these are 2 different identities. I believe he uses the Alber identity as a prison guard in impel down.

3. Now for those guys who like to counter theories, and are probably saying, but King is a lunarian how would they not know he is one. Impel down is the only place King could easily fit in with an Alibi, all of the head guards wear black wings, *Shiryuu, Magellan, Hannyabal, Saldeath. King* could easily say his wings are fake like theirs

4. He can also turn of his flame at any time, And for his brown skin and white hair, those features *aren't enough to say that he is Lunarian*, smoothie and daz bones have these features and they are not lunarian, brown skin is pretty common in op

5. Why would he work there you ask, Kaidou has been imprisoned more times than any character, have you never wondered why Kaidou isn't reported publicly for breaking out of impel down, thats because King snuck him out every time, he tampered with the reports in the prison and let him out secretly. *Kaidou would walk out the prison casually with this guard who he knew was King*

Shiryuu and King have a relationship that comes from impel down, shiryuu was his former subordinate in impel down and took his place as head jailor. King likely developed a *torture fetish because of the torture he underwent as a kid.*

Shiryuu in many peoples belief is a Kurozumi, and makes alot of sense when you learn the basis of his character is a fictional japanese character whose main desire was to enact vengeance for his fallen clan, both wearing the same police hat. Shiryuu is clearly hiding that he is a kurozumi in the same way that King is hiding that he is a Lunarian. Both have pasts of being hunted for being part of specific groups/tribes and grew hatred and sadistic personalities because of it.

Funnily enough, King is pretty much a link between Shiryuu and wano/orochi to a degree. As King *worked with orochi and Shiryuu.* Many believe *Shiryuus sword Raiu will eventually eat the Yamato no orochi.*

This gains even more credence when you realise that lafitte and devon are going to egghead, they can very likely *sway York to join them since she has defected from Vegapunk*, so essentially they are gaining vegapunk to join them, and at the *same time his knowledge of dfs and how to confer their powers to weapons.*

Orochi was mentored by the old hag and the old man, while Kaidou was mentored by Rocks.

They joined forces with Rocks, Orochi joined forces with Kaidou. Shiryuu is now joining forces with Blackbeard

The kurozumi keep linking up with these evil pirates as a way to enact revenge.
