One Piece | Imu Took The Throne of Joyboy In The Past

I was thinking about how we speculate that Joyboy in the story was probably a Giant and was probably the owner of the giant strawhat in Mary Geoise.

Ok, then we see Imu looking small near her/his throne, maybe she/he is not that small and it’s just perspective because the throne itself is gigantic. Which make me think that maybe it was Joyboy’s true throne originally.

Imu won the war against the ancient kingdom and got Joyboy’s throne and strawhat as trophies and tokens of remembrance. And then I thought to myself and what is the strawhat?

The strawhat is Joyboy’s Crown! Joyboy was the true king of the world before Imu, Imu took the position and made it look like it’s impossible to achieve so nobody tries to take it from her/him. Eventually the name and position of King of the Pirates came into existence again.

The difference between Imu and Joyboy is that Imu believe in hierarchy and that a few could dominate the rest of the population meanwhile Joyboy was a King of a free country where anyone from anywhere could come and join, and Joyboy didn’t look at himself as above the average men but as an equal. And that’s the symbology behind the meaning of the strawhat, a crown, but a crown of a King that is humble enough to use the same hat as the average person of the world.

The government don’t want anyone to find the One Piece because they would consequently find the truth about Imu and could try to do something to overthrow her/him.

And the conclusion is that the throne itself has a mark in which makes it look like it’s the four Road Poneglyphs with Laugh Tale and the One Piece in the middle and that represents the One Piece is the title itself of the King of the World. The same thing Blackbeard also wants.

And that connects to Luffy’s secret dream which could be that not only he wants to be the King of the Pirates but he also wants to have a Pirate Kingdom, and before creating the Kingdom he first needs to be crowned King. Which can sound silly and impossible for many.
